With the Indian millennials increasingly becoming conscious of their choices, Tsara was launched with a goal to provide cruelty-free lipstick to them. The brand was targeted towards the young audience more with a view to being relatable. We were assigned with designing the secondary packaging for their first launch- the Lipstick Range along with a box to hold all the lipsticks if the range was purchased as a gift hamper.
Studio 318 ran numerous brand workshops with the client that helped us understand the outlook of the client and how the client wanted to be perceived. This helped us design a brand strategy that targets confident, classy, and young customers. These interactive sessions brought about one very common issue, ‘lack of clarity about the shade’ while buying lipsticks. To this, we came up with the idea of the packaging box being of the same colour as its shade. Keeping that as our main concept, we translated the colour of the lipsticks onto the box. Further to enhance the experience of the customers and be more relatable, we designed the gift hamper in the form of a handbag or a clutch.
